About Haeohreum
I'm a student at UNSW who is studying computer science. I love learning and teaching - and hence why I'm looking for students like yourself! I'm an experienced tutor who has tutored students from the most foundational of abilities to the most talented, so I know how to get you to the level you want to be. I achieved a band 6 in all three mathematics subjects (I did accelerated advanced) and also achieved a high distinction in the following university mathematics courses: Calculus II and III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Mathematics. My teaching style is derived from my success in the HSC - questions, questions, questions. No matter how well you know your theory, if you don't expose yourself to questions, you will never succeed. My mathematics, computer science, and physics lessons have a deep focus on pattern recognition and the ability to problem-solve on an abstract level. Rather than cramming formulas, I approach mathematics in a question-based format, where my students and I complete challenging questions and then talk about how we can replicate strategies in different questions.
