About Philippe

I am a graduated HSC student commencing in UNSW for Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science. I achieved an ATAR of 96.15 and am passionate about mathematics and science.

My subjects were Mathematics Ext 1, Mathematics Advanced, Physics, Biology, and Economics. Some of my key achievements: - Top 5 in cohort - Multiple distinctions in ICAS Mathematics and ICAS Science - 2nd Place in UNSW Bragg Science Writing Competition - Debating since Year 7, finalists in previous 2 years Outside of school, my hobbies include coding, photography, archery and aviation. I value a holistic approach to education and would like to foster this attitude in younger students.

About the lesson

I teach students thoroughly ensuring that they understand any concepts well whilst utilising practice questions to consolidate understanding.

I also adapt how I teach in order to best suit the student, using visual aids, diagrams, and videos to help explain concepts logically.

I am very passionate about science and mathematics. I look forward to helping younger students excel in their junior years and build confidence and a strong foundation for their senior years.

Lessons are 1 hour but I am open for more or less depending on the needs of the student. I am also available between lessons to answer difficult questions that may arise for students during the week.
