About Cooper
Howdy! I'm Cooper, I grew up in Austin, Texas. I'm really into sports and I am a college baseball player at Pitzer College in the sunny California weather! My parents and siblings all have Phd. in math and stats, so I've been around it for a while and have gotten my fair share of teaching from them! I worked as a baseball coach in high school and loved teaching, I know it seems weird, but I love math too!

My approach to teaching math is for my students to completely understand the topic at hand, and then jumping into as much practice as possible. Math is practice, practice, and more practice! I believe a key part of excelling in math is learning to do it fast! Speed and memorization once the concept is understood is how you can ace those tests. A typical lesson would be me taking everything slow through explanations, and then lots of practice problems where I like my students to ask any questions they may think of. Anything from Algebra, Functions, Geometry, and Pre Calc we can get better at together!
