About Brice

I’m an FX professional with a passion for teaching. I had the opportunity to train for several years at ESMA Montpellier in France, where I explored all aspects of 3D animation and special effects for film. I later specialized in FX creation and gained hands-on experience with Houdini, a powerful tool for procedural work. I’ve worked on major projects like Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Sandman, and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters for platforms like Netflix, Apple TV, and film. I’m equally passionate about both art and math, and I take a step-by-step approach to teaching. I understand that computer graphics, especially Houdini, can be overwhelming and challenging for beginners. But with the right approach and a good teacher, it can be much simpler than it seems. I’m really looking forward to sharing my knowledge with you.

About the lesson

The first free lesson will help me understand what you want to learn and where you’re at so we can plan future sessions.

Depending on your needs and skill level, we can explore the fundamentals of 3D and computer graphics, focusing on rewarding projects or diving deeper into specific areas of the discipline. We can also go further into learning Houdini for more complex procedural creations.

I prefer to offer lessons remotely via video call, but in-person lessons are also possible.
