Hoping to inspire GCSE and A-Level students to enjoy and achieve in Geography and/or Sociology!!

Lotty is a brilliant, hardworking person. I’ve never met anyone who shines as brightly, no matter what obstacles are thrown her way. We’ve known each other since we were thirteen, and have seen each other through a lot, including exam seasons and prefect duties. Lotty is wonderful with children, passing up no opportunities to volunteer and help. She was charged with overseeing and entertaining the year 7-8 boarders, which she handled effortlessly, providing them with both emotional and academic support that went beyond the teacher’s expectations.
When it comes to academics, she’s an organised and hard worker, coming up with revision strategies to help her with exams. She’s always used this to tackle Geography, using methods from diagrams to posters to absorb information. She’s also very good with people, and would be able to develop strategies that suit and adapt to the tutee’s needs.
Overall I think Lotty would be an excellent choice for a tutor, as she would connect instantly with her tutee and make them understand how studying can be a fun activity!

I have lived with Lotty for the past year in university, meaning that we know eachother very well. I can say with confidence that Lotty is a driven individual, committed to everything she does. She will be an excellent tutor because she is an intelligent and personable character that is helpful in every way! I have seen her ability to academically support her peers first hand, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for some extra help with their studies.
