About Beth

I’m an artist, language lover and educator with a passion for creativity, communication and lifelong learning. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll usually find me making art, listening to music, spending time in nature or exploring new languages and cultures.

Having worked in education for over 10 years, I’ve developed a genuine love for helping people learn and grow. What I enjoy most about tutoring is building strong relationships with students, understanding how they learn best, and helping them gain confidence in their abilities.

I believe that learning should be engaging, supportive and tailored to the individual. Seeing a student go from feeling stuck or uncertain to feeling capable and proud of their progress is one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and it’s what continues to inspire me as a tutor.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Bethany, a friendly and experienced tutor with over five years of teaching experience across English, Spanish, Russian and Multimedia Art.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages (Spanish & Russian) and Sociolinguistics from the University of Bristol, and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, develop independent learning skills, and achieve their academic goals.

Every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each learner’s strengths, challenges and interests. Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving your grades, learning a language from scratch, or simply looking to feel more confident in a subject, I create personalised lessons that are engaging, supportive and tailored to you.

My students often describe me as patient, approachable and encouraging. I believe that learning should feel rewarding rather than overwhelming, and I strive to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating progress.

Above all, I genuinely care about helping my students succeed. Seeing a student gain confidence, achieve a target grade, or discover a new passion for learning is the most rewarding part of what I do.
