About Stephanie
I graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Physics degree and completed a TESL Diploma course from the Canadian College of Educators. I have 3 years of experience tutored students from grades 2-12 in math and science through my position at Mathnasium. In addition, I have 20 hours of experience teaching adult ESL specifically online.

In math and science lessons, I avoid teaching students to memorized and regurgitated math steps or science concepts. Learning science and math requires the student to emphasize understanding the concepts and reasoning behind the steps. My students learn the skill of problem-solving through this methodology.
