About Darla
Hi! I’m a high school student who absolutely loves science and English, and outside of school, you’ll usually find me doing gymnastics, reading, or writing stories. I’ve always loved helping people in a way that makes things less stressful, and I enjoy taking the time to explain things clearly so they really make sense. It’s so rewarding to see someone reach their goals and feel proud of themselves, and I love being part of that journey. My dream is to become a psychiatrist one day so I can continue helping people in meaningful ways. My teachers often say I’m adaptable, and my friends always tell me I’m friendly and would make a great teacher, which is one of the reasons I love tutoring so much!

As an honours high school student, I use clear, patient explanations to help make learning less stressful and more enjoyable. In our sessions, we start with a quick review, go through examples together, and practice questions so you can feel confident in what you’re learning. I explain things in a way that makes sense, using easy-to-understand steps and notes you can keep for studying later. I offer help in any subject for elementary and early high school students, whether you need to catch up, prepare for a test, or just want your schoolwork to feel easier.
