About Shameen
Many qualities reside with a tutor attaining a form of success. An important aspect that I believe makes me a good tutor is my commitment and patience toward this job. I hold a sense of purpose and am very driven toward every task I do. My student’s success is my success as it defines my capabilities in providing efficient guidance toward their learning. If a student is having discrepancies in their progress, I don’t get frustrated quickly but seek to figure out a solution and look back to see what can be done better. As someone with younger siblings varying in all ages who I have tutored for years, my tolerance and ability to get along, which I believe is crucial for students' efficiency in learning, has developed dramatically overtime.

My preferred method of teaching strategies is inquiry-based, which allows students to be comfortable enough to continue to ask questions. Positive reinforcement in terms of providing them with a motivated mindset. In addition to drawings, mindmaps, diagrams and providing a summary at the end of the content that has been covered.. With an inquiry-based method, I believe chalkboards/whiteboards, google applications, and videos help give good visuals to help them understand the content better as well
