About Ria
Hi! I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic math tutor with a 91% high school average and four consecutive years on the honor roll. I’m heading to university to study biology, and I bring both strong academic skills and a passion for helping others succeed. Math doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With the right guidance, it can actually become one of your strengths. My goal is to help students in grades 6–12 build confidence, master key concepts, and improve their marks through personalized, step-by-step support. I approach every lesson with patience, positivity, and a clear plan. Whether you’re catching up, preparing for tests, or aiming for top grades, I’ll help you reach your goals in a way that works for you.

My Tutoring Approach: As a tutor, I focus on making math feel approachable and understandable. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit individual learning styles. Lesson Structure: A typical session begins with a quick review of previous material to reinforce understanding, followed by a focused lesson on a new concept. I then guide students through practice problems, starting with support and gradually encouraging independence. Each lesson ends with a short recap and a preview of what's next.
