About Amber
I have a passion for helping others and will soon graduate from a four-year college with a BS in Mathematics and a concentration in Secondary School Education. I have several years of experience as a tutor and teacher's assistant since my own high school days, with my favorite topic being algebra.
I always believe that "slow and steady wins the race," and aim to reinforce understanding of concepts rather than relying just on memorizing procedures.

I am extremely patient and am willing to go over practice problems, homework, or class materials that my students do not understand. I work to meet my students at their level and guide them so that they no longer feel lost in all of the math they learn in school every day. Lessons will go at students' pace and focus on the concepts that they struggle with most.
