About Justin
Is your child struggling with math? I can help. Hi, I'm Justin G., a tutor based out of Los Angeles, California. I graduated with honors in both of my degrees, including an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, Science and Mathematics, and I'm a member of multiple honor societies. I started teaching as a college aide for Long Beach Unified School District in 2021, and since then I've worked as a private tutor, recreational aide, youth development professional, and Project Specialist at Coastline College in Newport Beach. I teach English, math, physics, and history — anything up to high school level. I'm currently tutoring a high school student in Algebra 2, so I know exactly where students get stuck and how to get them unstuck. With 6+ years of teaching experience, I happily teach little kids too — we keep things patient, fun, and encouraging.

Math doesn't have to be stressful — I'll help you actually understand it. I'm currently tutoring a high school student in Algebra 2, so I know exactly where students get stuck and how to get them unstuck. My lessons are patient and step-by-step: we start with what you already know, then build up to the harder stuff at your pace. I teach elementary through high school students, and I'm happy to help with homework, test prep, or catching up on anything you've missed. I also love working with little kids — we keep things fun and encouraging so math feels doable, not scary.
