About Emma
I recently graduated with my honors B.S in sustainability, a minor in French, and certificate in food systems sustainability. I have 10+ years of experience working with kids and developing their social and academic capabilities. I currently tutor 5th and 6th graders in both English and math. Not only have a helped kids succeed, I was also a peer educator at my university. I represented the School of Sustainability and helped those students with their academic needs, and I was a wellness supervisor where I educated students on wellness topics. I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to learn if given the right tools. I look forward to finding those tools with you in the future! I am a certified peer educator, so I can tutor any level!

My initial approach as a tutor is to get to know the student. By doing that, I can get an understanding of how they learn best, and we can hone in on materials they want help with. I am very adaptable, so I can change my way of teaching once I see that the student isn't registering my current teaching methods.
