About Michael
I am a recent English literature graduate of Adelphi University currently in the process of applying to doctoral programs. I have a deep knowledge of literature as both a subject and as a pedagogical tool. Reading and writing are not only worth studying for their own sake, they also help students and professionals to sharpen their critical thinking and reading skills.

I approach teaching as an open-ended process. I believe that it is from the needs and experiences of students that teachers must draw their approach. For this reason, my lesson plans are guidelines to be revised as we go along, ultimately helping the student reach his or her goals.
