About Robert

I believe the best teaching comes from a mix of kindness, patience, empathy and just the right amount of humor. My goal is to help you build confidence in your abilities and feel inspired to pursue great things within engineering. Some knowledge can be hard to come by, and it’s my pleasure to guide you through it with clarity and encouragement. Whether you’re preparing for university, tackling challenging concepts, or exploring advanced topics, I’ll be in your corner to make sure you not only understand the material, but also feel motivated to apply it in the real world.

About the lesson

I help students go from confused to confident by teaching the practical engineering skills that get used in real-world systems.

With experience at Honda, Tesla, and now in EV charging in Toronto, I blend industry credibility with an educational approach that breaks down difficult concepts into clear analogies and hands-on intuition. This isn’t just “math tutoring”, it’s practical electrical engineering, embedded systems, automation, and applied electronics.

My approach begins with understanding each student’s current knowledge level, goals, and preferred learning style. I then introduce the big picture of a concept, such as real-world applications and analogies, before breaking it down into step-by-step explanations and worked examples rooted in fundamental physical principles with slowly increasing difficulty.

I believe no one is “slow” or “behind”, but they simply need patience, clarity, and the right guidance to reach mastery.
