About Theresa Sze Ying
I am an interpreter who speaks very fluent Chinese and Cantonese. I lived in Beijing for a year and taught foreign students in Penang, Malaysia. I think language learning should be always be fun and not be afraid to make mistakes. Culture is part of the language. I am ready to share with you my life. My teaching methods are conversational skills and cultural immersion. Audio visual helps to register the meaning quicker and pronunciation/speaking helps to register the sound as Mandarin and Cantonese are tonal languages. Hanyu pinyin would be part of our learning as well, once you master it, you could pronounce all Chinese words even though you might not know the meanings.
