About Skylar
I have been playing classical piano for 17 years and hold a Bachelors of Music from McGill University. I am intimately familiar with the classical music scene for intermediates wanting to become more serious, and I also understand how to hold the attention of younger beginners.

I enjoy getting to know my students well in order to not only provide a safe, engaging learning experience, but also to curate individualized lesson plans. I empower students by allowing them to pick their own music, while connecting their music tastes to other works and composers that I believe are critical to classical music. I work well with beginner and intermediate level students, and also hold experience in working with both young children and adult students.
