About Roxane

Bonjour! My name is Roxane, and I’m a passionate French teacher.

I hold a DAEFLE diploma (French Teacher of Foreign Language) from the prestigious Alliance Française de Paris, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages (English & Spanish).

My teaching journey has taken me across the globe:
- I spent a year teaching group lessons at a language center in Paris.
-I tutored students at Bali International School, supporting their learning journeys.
- Now, I focus primarily on private online lessons, connecting with students from all over the world.

I love creating meaningful connections and fostering a positive learning environment. As a friendly and curious person, I enjoy sharing the beauty of French culture and hearing your unique stories in return.

My passions:
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me immersed in my favorite activities—yoga, dance, traveling, cooking, surfing, sipping coffee, and enjoying ocean views (especially after yoga!).

Fun facts about me:
-I grew up in Paris and worked there for 7 years as an Account Manager in communication agencies. I collaborated with clients across various industries, including luxury, fashion, food, and spirits. With a Master’s degree in Business, Communication, and Marketing, I built a dynamic career before deciding to follow my heart.
- I made a bold decision to start anew—studying French teaching, traveling through Asia, and eventually finding my home in Bali.
- I’m also a certified yoga teacher, offering classes in French and English. For me, well-being is essential. Yoga has taught me perseverance, patience, and the power of mindfulness in overcoming challenges.

How does yoga influence my teaching?
Just like in yoga, my French classes are designed to be a safe and welcoming space where students can explore their learning journey at their own pace. I blend patience, encouragement, and structure to help you achieve your goals—whether it’s mastering conversational French, deepening your understanding of French culture, or preparing for an exam.

About the lesson

I earned the DAEFLE diploma (Teaching French as a Foreign Language) with honors from the Alliance Française de Paris. My teaching journey began in a language center in Paris, where I guided groups of 15–20 women, newly arrived in France, at A1/A2 levels.

Now, I work online with students from around the world, helping beginners, intermediates, and advanced learners refine their French skills. Whether you're preparing for exams, planning a professional move to France, or aiming to improve your fluency, I’m here to support you.

Roxanne is a really good teacher. She is very patient and explains everything properly, as much time as you need to understand and only after you will move further. I started to understand french much more after the classes with her. She gives different exercises to complete, including grammar and audio ones. In general I love the way she does classes.
Ah by the way she speaks English well, but does classes only in French that will also help you a lot in learning that language ;)
