About Jeramy

Jeramy is an NFP executive & board member who is a faithful servant leader—seeking to nurture individuals to develop and optimise their performance.

As a lifelong learner who harnesses information to equip and develop others, he is most comfortable leading teams from a participative and transformational leadership mindset. He intentionally leads whilst using these skills to journey with organisations through complex change management and sector reform.

He consistently demonstrates this through solid analytical problem-solving and an in-depth understanding of complex risk management policy and systems—significant financial acumen, using these skills to empower and equip senior leadership teams.

Jeramy is proud of his leadership journey, starting as a disability support worker in the early 2000s and quickly moving to frontline management. His ability to draw on these skills and lessons comes back to his mastery of developing and nurturing relationships with the organisation's best asset, its people. Jeramy has proven over his extensive leadership career that he wants to see the best in people.

This focus has been proven time and time again, leading and serving both established and future leaders, building trust by working with and encouraging leaders to step into genuine empathy and, where possible, following the principles of servant leadership.

This people-focused approach is not just with his direct reports but also deliberately with the broader teams, executives, board members, stakeholders and clients who access services.

Jeramy has a unique skill set that draws upon the sector and community expertise (not-for-profit, disability, aged & youth sectors) and business acumen (he holds an MBA & is a Chartered Fellow, Institute of Managers & Leaders)—positioning him well to mentor and nurture future leaders while focusing on the Board's strategic intent.

With extensive experience through systemic change and digital transformation, including sector reform, Jeramy will continue to use these skills as transferable skills to be scalable and agile. He demonstrates the ability to accommodate the implementation of new strategic plans and work with executive teams and the board to articulate strategic intent; whether it is growth, consolidation, or acquisition, he has the skillset required to implement.

About the lesson

I’m a natural coach & or mentor that is passionate about developing leaders.

I deliberately probe, to understand your professional (and or personal) dreams, however wild. I try and draw on mutual connections, interests, and aspirations.

Working through conversation, active listening, leadership principles and practice to help the mentee obtain goals swiftly through self-reflection.

I have a passion for focusing and drawing on person-centric communication.

I will work at the client's pace, building confidence and working through manageable, bite-sized tasks.

I have developed skills in building client confidence. Mentee’s have previously worked through, project pitches, career development, research and project planning. This can be replicated and crafted to work around the persons needs, wither this is soft and active listening or a critique, or balanced comment.

Happily work on simple tasks, talking through project plans and upcoming interviews, conflict, managing up, etc.
