About Kev
My academic experience stems from being a Theoretical Physicist having conducted and published research in Quantum Computing, and Statistical Physics; I hold Bachelor's degrees in both Mathematics and Physics from the University of Central Florida and a Master's degree in physics from Johns Hopkins University. I've been a private tutor for 8 years, developed private lecture series on graduate physics material, and taught 6 semesters of college physics coursework while I was a graduate student. In addition, I've spent much time as a professional communicating complex scientific ideas to non-experts.

I believe the best way to learn is by doing. This means my tutoring sessions involve solving problems from past exams, homework problems, or textbook exercises. This style allows me to dynamically teach subject material you need while saving you time on topics you're already good at. Next, I take the problem-solving time as an opportunity to give you insights into why questions are phrased the way they are, how the question at hand relates to others you might be asked on exams or homework, and how to systematically tackle similar questions. I believe this approach maximizes the working knowledge gained by the student in any given session. I'm interested in helping those taking Physics, Calculus, and other advanced math topics at the High School level and beyond.
