About Violet
I am an aspiring scientist currently studying at Imperial College London, with a strong academic record including A* grades in Chemistry, Maths and Biology A-Levels and grade 9s across all GCSEs. With a passion for education I am committed to supporting students in achieving academic excellence. Having recently experienced the demands of public examinations, I can offer both subject expertise and practical strategies for success. I am currently tutoring regularly in GCSE maths and biology but have some availability for ad hoc/condensed tutoring from June-October in maths, biology and chemistry - flexible opportunities!

I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths. My lessons are typically 1 hour, focusing on building understanding through clear explanations, worked examples, and exam-style practice, with a focus on exam technique, breaking down concepts and having fun. I achieved A* grades in A-level Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics and grade 9s in all 11 of my GCSEs. Currently, I am an Earth Sciences student at Imperial College London. My teaching is flexible and tailored to each student’s needs, preparing effectively for external examinations. I want to help make science accessible to all, making lessons fun and personalised.
I have experience in tutoring for public examinations, as well as in earlier secondary years as students focus on the foundations for GCSE and A-levels.
