About Lewis
I am currently in my second year of studying History at City, University of London and have attained a grade B in History, Geography, and English Literature at A-level. I have experience as a personal tutor; preparing students for their upcoming GCSE exams. I have a good level of general history (from ancient to modern) but have a particular interest in the history of imperialism, and post-colonial history.

I am a friendly and approachable person, taking pride in my less formal style of teaching. I hold student engagement as my main priority and thus am willing to adapt my teaching format to accommodate for the individual needs of students. I also tend to prefer more creative methods of teaching, particularly through visuals.

Details
Whilst £9 an hour is my standard rate, I am happy to discuss this during the first free lesson or over email and arrange alternative rates on a case-by-case basis.
I do not have a cancellation fee if you ever have to cancel a session. I simply ask that you notify me as soon as possible as to whether or not you will need to cancel a session. If I find that there is a conflict in our availability or a repeated cancellation of sessions I may ask you to pursue the use of alternative tutors.
