About Elliot
I see my future as head of history at my local school. I will use tutoring as a stepping stone to expand my ability as a teacher, charging a lower price for your lessons as compensation for my lesser experience. I will shape your interpretation of history, changing fact from opinion in an analytical approach where you interrogate all sources of history, whether it be written, photographed, spoken etc. No matter what stage of history you are at, if you can grasp these concepts at an early stage, you will exceed beyond the regular student. I will be flexible teaching 1-2 hours, preferably in the evenings after school. I am also much more focused on constructing a well-able student who can be taught strong revision methods which can be carried across all subjects. I previously taught my brother, as well as a struggling GCSE student a couple of years ago, meaning I have the ability to teach all types of students.
