About Max
I have 11A* at GCSE and 3 As at A level both of which include History and Religious Studies (philosophy and ethics). My areas of expertise are the American revolution, British and Irish relations and the reigns of the Stuart kings. Obviously i can still give stylistic and linguistic advice on work on other areas but my precise knowledge is centred around these areas. I have given open lectures on aspects of these topics to live audiences and helped friends with their essays for years, so I am now offering my expertise to anyone who wants to improve the way they write about history, philosophy and ethics

I'm a gap year student giving online lessons in my free time. My lessons are informal and we simply discuss and critique your work to help you understand how you can improve the way in which you present your ideas. The best way for this to work is to email me essays you have done at school prior to the lessons, and I will read and notate and then we can work through them for an hour, giving detailed 1 to 1 feedback that is rarely possible in a school environment. Similar to a university tutorial.
