Sophie tutored me through the Sixth Forms mentoring scheme which entailed students sharing subject knowledge and aiding students who were struggling within the subject. Sophie was massively helpful in aiding my learning and enhancing my own confidence and capabilities during both my History and English A-level. As well as verbal teaching Sophie additionally provided help and more extensive teaching through giving me further teaching materials such as condensed informational notes on the course. Patient and willing to persevere to make sure her teaching is entirely effective for the individual, Sophie was invaluable to my learning in both subjects; evidenced through a massive improvement in my own skill and grades.

Sophie was the most tenacious, hard working and determined student and mentor who always gives her best and takes on board any constructive criticism with resilience, in order to improve the outcomes of her and others' work. She works effectively with others and looks for opportunities to help those who are struggling and those in need of guidance (big or small), and improve their progress too - showing generosity with her ideas and help given. Her dedication and ability/flair was showcased through her mentoring a variety of students, especially my A Level and GCSE History students but across all of her subjects too. She is an absolute pleasure of a mentor and deserves every success in her future course and career.
