About Michael
Ever since I was young I had a passion for both history and teaching others about it. That desire is still alive in me today and is why I want to work with students in need of assistance. I am a second-year student at Carleton University with a major in history and was on the Dean's List in my first year. In my free time, I enjoy exploring history through non-fiction books, watching movies, and building scale models as a hands-on approach to historical study.

I have a love for teaching and sharing my interests with others. I am mostly interested in modern history and can help with elementary, middle, and high school history classes as well as first-year university history. History has always been my greatest passion and I enjoy teaching it to others.
A lesson would consist of identifying what the student is struggling with and then working through it collaboratively. I am committed to working with the student in guided lessons based on their needs. I will incorporate various interactive activities along with oral and writing-based ones to help increase the student's understanding.
