About Samuel
Hi! My name is Sam (aged 21) and I have always enjoyed talking about history. Rather naturally this lead to me being a tutor for struggling students at high school which I have found to be very gratifying. History has been a life long passion of mine which I decided to pursue further at Aberystwyth University where I have recently completed my studies. This experience has given me a good knowledge of how history works at an academic level and a desire to teach others what I have learnt. I like to think that I am professional in my teaching but can still relate to students and their needs.
Aside from history I am an avid cricket and baseball fan who enjoys board games.

The first session will begin with an analysis of a students strengths and areas in need of development. This will allow the lessons to be personalised to each tutee individually and will ensure the best outcome from our sessions. The lessons will begin by focusing on ensuring an excellent knowledge of a topic through repetition and contextualisation of course material. The latter part of these lessons will focus on establishing a good writing style and the practical application of the course material to exams or coursework.
Personally, I am history graduate with experience tutoring both GCSE and A level students. Lessons may vary in length depending on tutee availability. Lessons will be available for A level, GCSE or lower.
