After 25 years in the classroom, I am still as passionate about History as I was when I first visited the site of a Roman Bathhouse when I was at Primary School.
I would love to be able to share my passion with you and tell you about the lives of ordinary people who lived in the past.

Over the past 25 years, as a classroom teacher, I have met many people who think that History is all about dates and events.
While it's important to know about what happened and when it happened, it isn't the dates and events that make the history.
History is, mainly, about the people who lived at different times.
Have you wondered what it was like to live in the past?
In my lessons I specialise at looking at what life was actually like in different periods, from the Romans to the Victorians.
In each 1 hour session you will discover how people from different walks of life ate, slept and existed while the wars and other events were going on around them.
Do you know what it was like to be a soldier in the English army at the Battle of Hastings?
What was life like in England when the Romans invaded?
