About Jessica

I am a disadvantaged student attending a Russell Group university full of students who went to private school. I want to make education accessible to all by offering help to students who attend state schools who do not have access to the extra help at the school they attend. I am passionate about how we communicate history as a subject to pupils and have achieved success thus far in my studies.

About the lesson

The typical length of a lesson will be around 30-40 minutes. The level will be guided towards A-level students struggling with memorisation techniques, struggling with the amount of content on the course, revision techniques, how to make the subject more engaging and applying this to exams! I have experience running sessions amongst lower levels and want to move up to A-levels. I will focus on the student's areas of struggle so you can tackle your biggest concerns around the subject!

Perfect! An excellent tutor who helped me develop both my knowledge in history and my exam technique! Our lessons were always well-structured, engaging, and tailored to my needs. Jessica’s spaced repetition and active recall techniques combined with her exemplar essays and essay structures allowed me to improve so much in history and I would recommend her to anybody looking for a history tutor!
