About Ashley
My name is Ashley! I am a student myself in University studying to become a teacher. I have my Bachelor of Arts in history and am in my last year of teachers college. I have experience in teaching in the classroom, running group study sessions, creating formal lesson plans, and forming study plans and materials. I have experience tutoring high school students in applied, mixed and academic history classes. I have knowledge of world history, American history, Canadian history and ancient history.

I believe that everyone learns differently and differentiate my lessons and materials to every individual's needs. The best way to learn is sticking to a routine and schedule of learning. I use a variety of tools such as cue cards, visuals, quizzes and game to encourage learning. The most effective way to learn and memorize material is to do a little bit each day to better remember the material and reduce stress on each and every student.
