About Eli
I earned my degrees at Brock University and Carleton University. Working as a TA and leading my own seminars provided me with the capacity to teach and tutor in group or one on one environments and tailor the experience to the student. Having taught primarily first year university students which gave me great insight into a typical high school history curriculum.

With me the main focus is context and discussion as opposed to memorization. I find this contributes to improved comprehension, retention for tests/exams, and writing skills for essays.
I have a true passion for understanding the past and want to share that with students. It doesn’t have to be boring, I encourage curiosity.
