About Holly
Hey! My name is Holly and I have been in school forever. Well, maybe not forever, but it certainly feels that way sometimes. I recently finished my Master of Arts degree in History at University College London (which ranks among the top 20 universities in the entire world!) after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours with Distinction) in History at Simon Fraser University. In other words, I know my stuff. I have also written professionally so English and English Literature are among my areas of expertise as well so I can certainly help out there, particularly if you are not a native speaker. I am super patient and adaptable to individual students' needs as I firmly believe that everyone learns a little bit differently, and I get it. School can be difficult sometimes. That's why I'm here to help.

I offer super flexible lessons based on a student's personal and academic needs and tailor lesson plans likewise. Whether help is needed writing an essay, taking a test, or completing day-to-day assignments, I work at the student's pace with patience and kindness. I understand that everyone learns differently and am happy to adjust on a case-by-case basis to ensure that the student meets their targeted goals. I have plenty of resources to engage different learning styles to employ what works best for a specific student.
