About Frederick

Hello! I am Freddie, currently studying History and Sociology at the University of Manchester and I love spreading my enthusiasm for the pursuit of history to others! Whether the topic is as old as the ancient Egyptians, or as modern as the dissolution of the USSR, distributing the knowledge and advice that I have accrued over my time in education fills me with joy. I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to delving into the past!

About the lesson

Currently I am a History and Sociology student at the University of Manchester, ranking 7th in the UK for history, and have experience in attaining a grade 9 for a GCSE student. I can offer both GCSE and A level tutoring.

For each 60 minute lesson I produce a fully human-made (no AI here!) PowerPoint which is guided by the weaknesses highlighted by the tutee in the previous session.

These PowerPoint presentations will include key facts, figures, dates etc. associated with the specific topic being covered in that session. Additionally, I will include relevant past paper questions or create my own if the pre-existing resources are lacking.

Lessons are very flexible however, if subject content is a particular weakness then that becomes the focus of an entire session, while if something like exam technique is seen as a weakness then that will become the primary focus.
