About Harry
I am a first year History and Politics student at the University of Edinburgh, who studied History, Government and Politics and English Literature at A-Level, achieving 3A*s. Having recently gone through A-Levels myself, I appreciate the challenges of those exams and I am eager to help other students reach their potential. Having grown up in Paris for 7 years, I appreciate the difficulties of not always being able to communicate effectively and aim to help students express their ideas in History, Politics and English; all subjects which rely on an ability to think creativity and the ability to communicate ideas. Aside from my academic pursuits, I am an avid sports follower, traveller and reader.
I look forward to our sessions!

Before our first session I will ask for two or three areas to focus on so that I can prepare some materials tailored around the needs of the student. This will be aimed at offering different perspectives on the historical events, political processes or set texts to help the student orientate themselves within a debate and to encourage critical thinking. As alluded to above, English, History and Politics all revolve around communication. To that end, there will usually be a section on exam structure to give students a vessel to carry their own ideas in.
