About Barbora

I am a History and Comparative Literature Graduate with a background of tutoring and TA work. I am currently an intervention teacher helping students get caught up with knowledge lost over lockdown! I am eager to take on more students regardless of age/ability, please don't hesitate to contact me for more information!

About the lesson

I base my classes on my student's ability vs trying to condense a lesson into one hour for the sake of it! We will go through each topic/text you do not feel comfortable with and break it down together - my main goal is to make you feel more confident in the subject.

Well where do we begin, my son was behind in a lot of English work, as it was not his strongest subject. However I was lucky enough to stumble across what was to be the nicest and most supportive tutor, who helped my son cope with his online work. The proof was in the pudding, as with consistent work my son was able to catch up on his work and gain better concrete understanding. Would definitely recommend her services.

I have just got back into education and Barbora has helped me massively by showing me how to build and structure my work. She has also helped me build that confidence back up by keeping me motivated and I feel comfortable being taught by Barbora, I certainly have learned a lot from her!

Barbora has been my tutor for over a year now. My teachers and I have noticed a drastic improvement in my academic achievements and grades in the time that she has been my tutor.
Barbora is a kind and caring person who is always ready to help. She has given me the confidence to share my answers in class and developed my academic abilities beyond school. I enjoy every session with her, I am very grateful that I have found a tutor who understands my needs and pushes me to achieve my goals.
