About Hubie

I really enjoy tutoring and that, combined with the fact that I really love the subjects that I teach, means I feel I am highly motivated to help advance my tutees academically. I understand the public exam system well and know what techniques will guarantee that students do well in their exams. I also know the value of a broader education that will ensure students are well prepared for university and its demands.

About the lesson

My qualifications: - A Levels: English, History, Latin (A*,A*, A) - 2 years experience teaching Latin and Ancient History once a week at a primary school in England. Lesson focus will be on improving essay writing: proofreading essays, critiquing them, etc. Can also tutor Latin language. - I cater to students at secondary school but happy to teach younger students. - Lessons will be around an hour in length but this can be negotiated.
