About Frances
I am currently a master's student of Historical Studies at UCT. Ever since high school, I have had a keen interest in the study of history. By virtue, I went on to study this discipline at a tertiary level after receiving a 90+% for History at NSC level, achieving two degrees as a result—with the third in progress! During my post-graduate career, I have had the privilege of tutoring several Historical Studies courses and would love to shift into more individualistic teaching.

As an academic tutor for UCT, I have learnt how to engage my students during my lessons. I love the field of history and sharing this fascination with those interested in the subject, or those simply in need of some guidance — ultimately, creating a space for them to be the best student they can be! My lessons are interactive and fun. My aim is to make the content and methodology easy to digest for my students. Through this my hope is to make it as accessible as possible to those eager to learn and engage with the subject.
