About Umer
I am a full-time high school student at this point in time. I have been well ahead in mathematics since I was young. I attribute most of this to the fact that I knew how to learn properly from a young age. I am hoping that whichever student I end up tutoring will come away from each session feeling confident in the material while also understanding how to take their learning further. I understand how hard it can be for kids to learn the fundamentals of mathematics let alone the specifics. I am hoping that my style of teaching from personal experience and from advice I have been given from struggling students around me will benefit these kids as best as possible.

My sessions are once a week. During this session we will review what the student is learning in class at this time, go over the main points in that topic, overcome struggles and answer questions they may have, and help them with their homework and review so they better understand what they need to do on their own.
My tutoring sessions are available for anyone from grades 3-9. This will allow me to personalize my lesson plans after a few sessions of getting to know the student, learning what level they are at, and the style they learn in best.
