About Oliver
My name is Oliver, and I am a 17-year-old high school student. I have taken Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus, all passing with an A. I especially enjoy the problem-solving aspect of algebra. My skill set would work best with elementary and middle schoolers, as I am very patient and have the deepest understanding of the math taught to that age group. I can make lessons fun and interesting, or serious and studious. Whatever works best for your kid!

I like to teach with a "hands on" style, where we solve the problems together and learn the steps to get to that solution. First, I will create a quiz based on the math level of your kid to see where they're at. We might start with a warm up or a review of the previous lesson, and then deep dive into the topic of the day. I will work at whatever pace best suits your kid, and with whatever style works best for them! I have worked with neurodivergent kids, and am willing and able to tutor yours!
