About Angela

I am a grade 11 student who has received A's throughout her school years. Additionally, I had the opportunity to take an elevated level of math, so I am taking pre-cal 11 rather than grade 10 maths, which I have completed. I have contributed to a plethora of communities via volunteering and take on leadership positions such as Vice President of Internal Communications in student council, and am the trusted co-president of Debate club!

I thoroughly enjoy teaching people, and learning the vastness of people's differences in how they learn! It is a pleasure meeting people and being able to contribute in their journey to succeeding in life!

About the lesson

-Understands student's current capabilities and adjusts methods to their needs and level. (example: if further simplification is needed, or if they require explanations to concepts, or require previous material to be reviewed.)
-Typical lesson plan will go through all units of the specific level. (Eg, Unit 1- chapter 1.1 on one day, unit 1 chapter 1.2 the next day.)
-Students will be provided with practice questions to be completed during the session or for the next session.
-As I am a high school student myself, I resonate with the struggles other students may have as I have recently been through it.
-I want to ensure that students take their time and do not have to stress about learning completely new concepts. I am more than willing to teach students the basics and work their way up.
-I want to encourage students to focus on active learning rather than passive learning and studying.
-Lessons are for Kindergarten to grade 10. (Grade8, 9, 10 math is foundations and pre-cal)
