About Alexander
Graduate of the College of William and Mary with a BS in Computational & Applied Mathematics & Statistics and a BA in Economics. Over the past four years, I developed a keen ability to solve real-world problems meshing economic and mathematical approaches. I have been a tutor for the past five years and enjoy seeing my students excel in their classes. After college, I started my own company to combat the opioid crisis and use tutoring as a way to pay my bills as I build my company. Founder and CEO of Cosmos Pharmaceuticals L.L.C. (concealed information) - The inspiration for Cosmos comes from all of the people I knew growing up who have developed addictions to prescription medications as a result of unfavorable circumstances. Addiction is a devastating disease, and the risk of succumbing to it is not apparent to many individuals, especially when they first begin to take prescription medications. As Cosmos evolved over the past few years, we have expanded the scope of FortisKap as an RTM medical device to improve and monitor medication adherence. Our goal is to monitor medication adherence in between doctor visits in an effort to improve patient well-being.

Lessons are focused on current course work. Review and explanation of problem set questions, test review, and homework. Lessons via zoom with whiteboard explanations or in person. The goal of the lesson will be based on the students requests such as homework and problem sets or test review. The lessons can be guided by myself as well if the goal is to gain a better understanding of the material.

He is naturally extremely intelligent, but that's not the only reason he stands out as a great tutor. Alexander took the time to teach me a subject I loathe; math. Although he was obviously proficient in the subject (and I was a little intimidated by that) he was patient when I didn't understand at first, switching gears to teach me in a way where my brain could grasp the material. Eventually I gained confidence in the subject and when I needed help I knew he was there to guide me!
Alexander did a phenomenal job helping me write a cover letter and resume to apply for internships in the software development job market. He help to create a unique and ascetically pleasing resume that highlighted my strengths and interests. Well worth the few hours we spent together.
