About Simoni
Hi there! My name is Simoni Jagota, a junior at Woodbridge High School. My favorite subject has been math for as long as I can remember. I recently started an academic math competition club at my school. Now, I would like to help those in-need to learn math and master skills they once didn't understand. I love going to the beach, going on runs with my puppy, spending time with friends and family, and getting Starbucks!

My teaching method is to get to know the student's individual problems in math as it can be a very small problem that leads to complexities. Typically, I will start with getting to know the student in a series of questions that gets me to know the student and their own problems. I am a high school junior so I have the experience and perspective of a student and I know how the frustration when not understanding a concept is. However, I also know how good it feels to figure something out. These lessons are mostly for students in grades 1st-8th grade and those wanting to learn pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, and if the student has a particular problem, I can accommodate to make a lesson plan suitable for them.
