About Marshall
I’m a first-year Mechatronics Engineering student with a strong background in math and problem-solving, and I enjoy helping others understand new concepts in a clear and supportive way. I’ve spent years in team sports like hockey, which taught me patience, communication, and how to encourage others—skills I bring directly into my tutoring. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving at their own pace. My goal is to make learning feel approachable, positive, and even fun.

I teach by breaking down concepts into simple steps and using clear, relatable examples so students can truly understand the ideas rather than just memorize them. In each lesson, I start by reviewing what the student already knows, introduce the new topic in an easy-to-follow way, and then guide them through practice problems before letting them try some on their own with support. What sets me apart is my patience and ability to simplify difficult topics, helping students feel more confident and less stressed about learning. My lessons are designed for elementary and high school students who want to strengthen their math skills and improve problem-solving with a supportive and encouraging tutor.
