I am working as a part time teacher for the students who are live in my city, Zagazig, Al-Sharqyiah, Egypt, I had a wonderful cooperating teacher who helped me apply everything I learned at my University. I ahve a strengths skills for teaching the elementary, upper elementary school and college students as well is the work I did last semester with the “Top Notch” reading program

Before, I think that teaching was more passive. Lectures based; students listened, notes taken, exams and done deal. Now it is more interactive; creativity plays a big role, and more conducive to critical thinking; less talk from teacher, more participation from the students. Before students took for granted what was shared by the teacher; now students are more in the position of questioning, challenging, not in a negative sense but in the sense of being more active in their learning process. They are more engaging, taking more responsibility, contributing to what I call a dual way process of learning, where the responsibility of the learning taking place is shared by both and both contribute to the outcome in that interaction (teacher and student).
