My Approach to Teaching 12th Grade Math: My primary goal is to empower students to not only understand the complex concepts of 12th-grade Math but also to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will serve them well beyond their exams. I understand that this crucial year is pivotal for their future academic and career paths, and I am committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. Usual Structure of a Class: Review and Recap (5-10 minutes): We begin each class with a brief review of the previous lesson's key concepts and address any lingering questions. Introduction of New Topic (15-20 minutes): I introduce the new topic using clear explanations, examples, and visual aids. Guided Practice (20-30 minutes): We work through practice problems together, with me providing step-by-step guidance and answering questions. Independent Practice (10-15 minutes): Students work on practice problems independently, allowing me to assess their understanding and provide individual support. Summary and Assignment (5-10 minutes): We summarize the key takeaways of the lesson and I assign homework to reinforce learning.
