About John

I have earned my living using the English Language for 50 years and have tutored in IELTS for 15 years, including 5 years in China. I love teaching everything English and enjoy IELTS the most. I constantly research to discover new and effective ways to teach IELTS. Some of my methods have been adopted by British Council and many other tutors. I have been using personal computers for over 40 years and have developed or adopted the best of the best to deliver lesson content accurately, clearly and memorably.

About the lesson

I either test proficiency levels or use previous results to tailor a course specifically for each candidate’s requirements. All students are fully prepared for the test. After each lesson, you will receive a copy of the courseware which builds into a handy revision and reference manual. The lessons are highly detailed and include many hints, tips, tricks and insider information. Questions are always encouraged and mistakes are regarded as opportunities to learn. We use actual IELTS exam materials for homework and to illustrate the content of every lesson.
