About Alana
I have been working as a Physiotherapist for over 10 years. One of my favourite parts of the job is teaching students and junior members of staff; helping to enhance their knowledge and skills. I have developed excellent presentation and teaching skills over the years and prefer to tailor my approach to get the best out of the individual. Everyone has different needs. I have extensive experience working with people who have disabilities and additional needs; including working with adults and children. I truly believe everyone has the capacity to learn they just need the right support to do so. My passion for teaching probably comes from my Mum who has been in the profession for over 35 years. I will offer a calm, friendly atmosphere and aim to make learning fun.

10+ years in Physiotherapy with educator experience at various levels. Friendly and individualised approach with a typical time of 1 hour. I can teach/support with the following: GCSE Biology A Level Biology NVQ/BTEC level Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology or Health and Social care Access course to healthcare BSc Physiotherapy or equivalent I have specialised in Respiratory conditions so can provide support with this subject to a higher level.
