About Jonny
My teaching career has been shaped by extensive international travel and long-term work abroad. I have lived and worked in Japan, Vietnam, China, and Poland, and have travelled widely across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Outside teaching, I have a strong interest in public history, education innovation, and the ethical use of digital technology in learning. I enjoy reading widely, travelling, spending time outdoors, and sharing my love of history and critical thinking with students in a way that feels relevant, engaging, and empowering.

As a tutor, I am known for being supportive, approachable, and intellectually rigorous.
