About Charlotte

Hi there! My name is Charlotte Williams, a driven and friendly Chemistry BSc student at the University of Bristol. I believe Chemistry is a fascinating subject, it spans from the environment to modern day medicines such as Aspirin. I began to enjoy Chemistry at school when I saw the bright flames of sodium and thought that it was extraordinary. I carried my passion for Chemistry all through secondary school and found it my most intellectually rewarding A Level. Besides my love for Chemistry, I enjoy walking my dog in the park, spending time with friends and playing tennis.

About the lesson

As a highly motivated and friendly tutor, I will make sure that our lessons not only help you achieve your dream grades but also improve your confidence. As a student, the lessons that I always loved were the ones that focused on active recall such as going through multiple exam questions and focusing on breaking complex topics into simple ones. As I am a Chemistry BSc student at a top UK university, I have lots of experience with Chemistry as a subject, I can understand how tricky national exams can be and will give my 100% to helping you succeed in these exams and turning a rather hard subject into an enjoyable one.

Charlotte is my daughter. She has recently helped her brother with his GCSE mock exams, and later with his GCSEs which he is sitting in May and June 2026. Seb is predicted all 9s and his progress and aptitude especially in sciences can be linked directly to Charlotte’s teaching. Seb has moved from a 7 in chemistry to a solid 9 and again, this is largely due to Charlotte’s ability to motivate and teach her core subject.

I have no hesitation in recommending Charlotte as a chemistry tutor.
