About Emily
I have a Master's degree in Italian from Middlebury College and the University of Flornce and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from the American University of Rome. After living in Italy for many years and teaching English as a Second Language, I am now a full-time high school teacher in Miami, where I teach AP Art History, World History and Italian.

I have experience working with students from age 5 to 18, as well as professionals looking to improve their language skills. My teaching method is very individualized, patient and hands-on. I recently got my Master's in Italian, so I understand the difficulties, insecurities and nuances of learning another language. I love to incorporate real-life conversations into my classes so that students can feel more confident when they go out into the world.
